I ordered these brake pads a few months back because I was worried about my son's current brake pads not being sufficient for the 1000-watt eBike motor he installed on his bike. Installing the brakes was extremely easy—just a matter of unscrewing the old ones and screwing these on.After installation, he tested the brakes and immediately noticed the difference! He told me they were much stronger and provided a lot more stopping power, all without causing him to go OTB (over the bars). Just as Shimano stated, they don’t squeak and deliver excellent performance.This week, we truly saw their value. While riding his bike to school, a car swerved right in front of him, plowing into the bike lane while he was going nearly 30 mph! The brakes brought his bike to a complete stop, with only a slight tap on the car’s bumper. I don’t even want to imagine what could have happened if we hadn’t upgraded his brakes.I can't stress enough how important getting better breaks for ebikes or bikes in general, as they are potentially life saving. Not only that, but they are just nice to have in general. These work extremely well and if you've never heard of Shimano, I will ensure you, they are one of the top companies when it comes to biking and a lot of professional mountain bikers use their products when competing.

The spacers/risers/washers are kinda thick, but I managed to fit them in a "custom" configuration. Nice brakes, but they seem fussy in wet conditions. (I'll take that back, if they improve when fully broken in.)

Easy to replace the older no-name shoes on my city bike with these. What a difference... the old ones were glazed and did not rake well. These are quiet and stop on a dime.

The Shimano M70T4 Brake Shoe Set is an excellent choice for anyone using V-brakes on their bike. These pads cost more, but they last a long time. Make sure they are toed in when installing and they will not make noise. The stopping power is great.

Good brake pads for my wife’s bike. They have good grip control and stopping power and we’re easy to install. Brake performance increased from the original pads I took off.

Montati su una mountain bike del Decathlon Rockrider ST 100.Installazione piuttosto semplice, su YouTube ci sono un sacco di video che spiegano come fare.Ottima frenata, una spanna sopra quelli di fabbrica, e soprattutto non fischiano.

Rim brakes are on their way out being replaced by disc brakes. Sort of like riding horses gave way to the automobile. But, there are still a whole helluva lotta bikes in the world that still use rim brakes.These brake pads last a long time, for me. Why? Because I absolutely hate using my brakes when I ride. Tends to take the "whoopee" out of riding down long hills.YMMV but, using these brake pads (after you either properly install them yourself or have your LBS do it for you) will ensure that you stop when you want to stop.The above claim has not been tested by the NHSTB or any other entity, as far as I know. Nor does it include those occassions where some driver pulls out in front of you or cuts you off, just because. No warranty of the above statement is expressed or implied.
