These Shimano shift lever hoods fit my Ultegra ST-6800 shift levers perfectly and installed easily, nuff said.

Before I placed an order for this hoods, I checked to made sure that the model numbers is matched as this can be found on the levers’ body. I was happy with this and go ahead, got the hoods and I fitted them on straight away. But it was quite tight to fitted them on. They are feeling much better and comfortable than previous hoods which I think was quite old. I am pleased with the purchased. Highly recommended.

On multiple forums, as well as this product page, people have claimed these hoods are a suitable option for Dura Ace 9000 shifters, but they aren't.Why not:- The side nubs of the hoods will not fit in the sides of Dura Ace 9000 shifters.- the top nub of the hoods will not fit flush with Dura Ace 9000 shifters.- The top of the hoods will not look aesthetically flush with Dura Ace 9000 shifters.- These hoods are narrower than the body of Dura Ace 9000 shifters, which makes all the above worse.Yes, these hoods will slide on to Dura Ace 9000 shifters, but so will just about any set of hoods.So, no, these are not a solution for Dura ace 9000 shifters.However, these are good quality hoods, and I can confirm they fit Ultegra 6800 shifters just fine.4 stars

These bracket covers for the Ultegra 6800 brake shifters will fit the Dura Ace 9000 brake shifters. Not the same appearance as the original two-tone 9000 covers, but just fine for the modest price. Install using a alcohol base hand-sanitizer lotion as recommended by Shimano. Just be patient -- they will slip on.
