You'll need a proper cable cutter to get a flush cut, but after than just feed this thru your housings and get smooth braking.

Item will work fine, but it wasn't stainless which I thought I was getting. I peeled back the sticker and the part number on the packaging matched with the regular brake inner cable. Not stainless. Beware.

My push mower has a drive unit that's operated by a bar on the push handle. well, the cable sheared and the drive unit wasn't working. Replacement part was around $75... no, no, no. This cable looks just like a brake cable. Got this, clipped off one end, fed it through the sheath, put the proprietary lawnmower end on the cable and crimped a ferrule in place. Ta da! Lawnmower works again. Bike guy fixed a lawnmower.

This appears to be a great cable. I used it to replace a faulty cable on my new ebike. This one seems much better quality than the original. Installation was a breeze. I appreciated the fact that it cut cleanly without fraying.

I don’t have bike shops in my area + I needed to change the brake cable during the pandemic since my bicycle was my primary exercise equipment during this time. With the help of youtube how to videos, it was very easy to install it. Adjusting the brake is hard but it has nothing to do with the cable.

Good, solid Shimano quality. These are a no-brainer-except- please note that this is a single cable, not a set. For some reason I thought I was getting both front and rear. I guess I didn't read the description completely. Anyway, it's a good cable!

愛車のメンテナンスをしておそらく最初の難関が、ケーブルの交換。調整が巧くいかず、ケーブルを一本無駄にしたことがある。失敗は成功の元、２回めはコツが分かってうまくいく。でも、過去の失敗から高価な消耗品には手を出しづらくなってしまうトラウマも。ワイヤー両サイドにロード、MTBのエンド部を持つブレーキケーブルで、汎用性に優れています。一般のママチャリにも使えます。長さも十分確保されているので、どのサイズのバイクでも対応でき、価格も安いので何本か持っていても良いかと思います。初期伸びを取ってしまえば、それ以上不要な伸びもありません。もし難点を挙げるなら、カット面のワイヤーがほつれやすく感じます。あまりいじりすぎない程度に扱った方が無難。また、バイクを雨ざらしにしておくと、ワイヤーに錆がうっすら浮いてくるので、装着前にエンド部にグリス、ワイヤーに防錆のための潤滑油を薄く塗っておくことをお勧めします。普通に手入れをしていれば、耐久性も良くとても良い製品です。
