The weight and surface keeps it anchored and doesn't move around, which I found a surprisingly unexpected plus. The long silicone groves keep brushes securely in place, and does clean-up easily. SO much better then slippery surfaced narrow holders that can pushed around.I'm clumsy, and this let's me concentrate on painting, not fussing with equipment. Get this!

I am very pleased with this purchase. These are perfect for resting my watercolor brushes on while I am painting and for drying them after they have been cleaned. Brushes are held securely and bristles are prevented from being bent or misshapened.

I like these paintbrush holders. They're advertised as soap dishes both on here and on the packaging. I can see how they could be used for that, except for the fact that it would require some clean-up from water spilling off the two sides. It's quite firm and can be bent the smallest amount. I like that these come in a set of two. The packaging was great, however, it took a month to arrive.

if you have every dealt with brush rolling onto projects, off tables, etc. you get why you would need this. Super straightforward and handy to have.

Wow! Didn’t realize I needed one of these until I got this one. It is perfect for as both a brush rest and a paint stick holder. What I like is that it’s lightweight enough to carry in my travel bag and wipes clean easily with just a baby wipe. A great tool for all artists!
