EinScan-SP Scanning Modes:

  • Automatic Scan (Maximum Scan Volume: 200 x 200 x 200mm): allows to perform automatic 3D scans with turntable and coded targets.
  • Fixed Scan (Maximum Scan Volume: 1200 x 1200 x 1200mm): allows you to use the tripod to scan objects directly in fixed mode without an automatic turntable.

EinScan SP is quick and easy and allows you to align the various objects automatically with or without the use of targets, or manually, as needed.

I was hesitant to purchase any 3D scanner because for every one I looked at there were the one and two star people who claim that the scanner/software is terrible. I took a chance on this after viewing some YouTube videos and after finding a "renewed" one for under $600. Before using it, I found a YouTube video that demonstrated set-up, calibration, and scanning/software use. First effort, I scanned a Rat Fink model. I am totally impressed with the result and the ease of the scan.
