I got the tire and the tire I got was the original style 525 without the soft rubber. This one is hard. I know because I have 525 style tires that are new. One is the Cheater model, and one is not. Cheater has Soft rubber and the Original does not.

I have tried a lot of different brands, designs, compounds... and this is the best cost-benefit tire in the market for enduro and hard enduro, it works so good in rocks, roots, mud, sand, dry, wet, last a lot, even with worn studs and if you don't have a new one, you could turn it over and ride a few hours more.

Great tire for advanced rider. Gummy great for rocks and roots loose soil. Good in dry and muddy conditions. Not a great breaking tire.. bounces. I use for harescrambles.

I've never had such good traction from a rear tire. Especially considering the price! This is an excellent value. Also it wears pretty well for a soft compound. Great tire, will buy again and again...
