Animals ate right through the bags - they offered no protection from critters eating my tomatoes.

I had a bird pecking at riped tomatoes. So I put them all in these bags. Easy to put on, easy to take off. Stable, tightened they don't blow away and are secure. The bird was foiled. I think. there was squirrel involved too. He ripped out a couple branches of the plant trying to get at the tomato. He failed and the tomato plant didn't care about a couple of branches. These will probably last forever and were really cheap. Seldom these days do I find a cheap simple product that works exactly as advertised. I garden organically so it was easy to avoid chemical solutions. Buy these. Not sure what else they would protect. Squirrels don't like chiles and birds seem to ignore them.

I've never used these before, but they seem to be doing the job. I've got over 100 tomatoes bagged, and so far, these bags have kept them all protected. They are easy to install, and I really like that you don't have to tie a knot; just pull the drawstrings until the bag is closed. They stay closed until you remove them. To remove the bags, you just do the opposite. They also seem to be reusable, but I can't say how many times. They do turn slightly yellow over time, but I don't care about that.Update 7/26/24. These have been doing a good job of protecting the tomatoes from insects, but the rodents chew right through. That's not necessarily surprising, but maybe it slows them down a bit and I suppose it's better than nothing. I have found the bags to be reusable, so that's a plus.

My poor R2E2 Mango trees had been getting hammered each year by flying foxes, birds and insects, so I thought I'd give these nylon bags a try. So far, so good. I bought the Large bags to suit the giant R2E2 fruit. The Mangoes are all still in place with not one loss so far. As the season still has a bit to run, hopefully they will all get through without loss. They are around 80% ripe at this stage, colouring up and looking good.

Needed something to protect the grapes from all the birds and this worked like a charm. They were easy to put on and most of them stayed on the full season. The green blending in with the leaves but they do fade in the sun. I didn’t mind the color change. They protected the grapes, were a decent size for them and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg to do it.

These bags are really nice. I purchased the 6 by 9 inch green fruit netting bags with the drawstring and mesh and they do a very good job in keeping away the bugs. And they even help a little bit with fungus, rust and other diseases. I got the larger bags because I'm using them for apples, Peaches, Asian pears and grapes.I have purchased these fruit bags a couple of times so far and have been using them for two seasons. You can reuse them, but because I cut some of the drawstings that are tide to the branch, I only reuse about half of them. They do hold up really well and also help keep the birds off the fruit too. However, the raccoons got through them. Hope I helped you in your fruit bag decision today. I highly recommend this product. Happy orcharding.
