This is a huge conversation starter as it sits in front of my bookcase. It looks super cool, and is also perfectly functional as an ax.

This axe is cheaply cast pot metal. The faux hammer marks, which are just unnecessary sharp dents, greatly weaken the axe head. After a basic sharpening multiple deep cracks in the blade were revealed that if this axe ever hit anything other than flesh would result in the head breaking in half. This is nothing more than a heavy wall decoration or a cosplay piece.For only $40 more, you can get an ultra high quality forged Helko Werk felling axe that you can chop down millions of trees and still pass it along to your grandchildren. So, $130 for a pot metal cosplay piece is just throwing money away. If you just want a show piece like this, pay someone with a 3D printer $20 to print a larger and better looking axe head and just stick it on a cheap axe handle from Lowes.

Straight from balliwood the home of them Indian Vikings comes this beast of an axe. Sturdy and well made for the price. And they didn’t even try to hack my computer.

The product looks very nice but the axe head is very loose on the handle. However, the company was quick to refund the total price. I'm sure the loose axehead is not a normal issue

I got VBA-08 and, wow, is it a good lookin' axe. Now, a lot of the time when you buy something like this off of Amazon, it's for show only and not to use, but I had to test it. Chopped clean and deep with every swing. Stayed semi-sharp as it should. Great buy.

This is a great item for anyone looking for a solid axe of Norse-design. It is extremely durable, well-made, solid, and comes well-oiled to prevent rust. The store owner was quick to respond to my questions, very polite, and a pleasure to deal with.
