These boots are a "one-size-fits-most", but we feel that they are better fitted on larger horses. The Front boots measure 25" tall from the very bottom to the very top and 20" tall at the back of the boot. The Rear boots measure 32" tall overall and 26" tall from the bottom up to the point of the hock.

One wear. ONE 30 minute trailer ride and this is the result you see in the pics. They couldn’t be tightened anymore, we have an OTTB and he is 16.1hh. Long legs. These should’ve fit just fine but…. He kicked a few times and they shredded.

I give this 3 stars. I absolutely love them however the stitching has unraveled by the Velcro. I put it back together, it's not pretty but gets the job done.

I went wit the 1000-D ripstop option (supposed to be green and burgandy, but the ones I received were green with gray trim. No big deal though.). They seem like they have a very tough outer surface and are very very padded for extra protection in transport. I will update my review when I actually use them (hopefully in a few weeks).

I bought these boots because they have a smooth nylon lining. (Why most shipping boot manufacturers use fleece-like fabric that collects shavings like Scrooge McDuck collects money has always confounded me.) The Velcro on my old nylon-lined boots (from 15 years ago) finally gave up the ghost, so it was time for new ones. A couple years ago, I had bought Pessoa boots to replace the boots for my horse who travels more. While I like those boots and continue to use them, the Velcro tends to fray the binding, so I thought I'd try something different for my other horse. These boots are much thicker than the Pessoas, which are a little on the thin side. They provide great coverage and look like they will stand up to a lot of use. They are easy to put on and take off. The hind boots are a little tight on my horse, whose hind legs tend to stock up a bit. They still fit, but the edges don't touch when I close the Velcro. This horse is a 15.3 1/2 hand Appy who wears a 5-strap Woof galloping boot behind. I suspect these boots wouldn't big large enough for a Warmblood or other thick-boned horse.
