i took off a star because it should have came with directions of how often to spray collar and putting a label on the bottle telling you what is in it would be a nice informative update. my dog is best friends with fleas it seems lol they love him, i have had this collar on him for a couple of days and he isn't irritated by it, another customer mentioned that they take the body collar off and on when they are inside, i think this is a great suggestion especially if you have a pet who is funny about having things on their body, i just want my dog to be flea free, i will definitely post a follow up if the collar isn't effective, we are just now getting into consistent warm weather so its too early for me to brag about collar, i plan on spraying my yard down in the upcoming days to help provide more protection. if this collar works during the summer months i will be so grateful because i have tried a multitude of flea repellants on my dog and still end of having problems

these collars are garbage,, the attachment system does not hold up in even light conditions they are made of silicone rubber with rivets to hold it, they stretch little and fall off the dogs neck, and forget about the waist band,, that being said the collars require constant reapplying of chemical considering that silicone is nonporous and won't absorb the oils for any length of time

Well, the midsection collar didn't last very long. Introduced it and the dog kept on fighting us as we put it on, and just like that, snap. However, the neck collar is still on. I wished there was a way to "tuck" in the excess but I believe its meant to be cut off cause that's what we did. The oil smells good. Dog has had the neck collar on and does seem to be scratching less. We live in front of an open area, connected to a park, so we do get a lot of fleas on furniture and places that our dog goes. In just two days, it appears to repel off the furniture too.

My previous review was one star. However, after communicating with the seller, they seem to be committed to a positive customer experience. More importantly, they made recommendations of a layered approach for protection from fleas and ticks. I can tell they believe in their products and I am now in the process of trying their products out again using their 3 step process.

Wanted to get this collar for one of my dogs that loves to roll in the grass and seems to be the one that the fleas all love. After bathing him and putting the collar on, we have seen no fleas. It is very durable and was easy to adjust for his big neck.

I guess I have had this on the outdoor dog for about 4 weeks now. At first, I tried to put the collar that had a plastic wrap around it on the dog, figuring the wrap would hold up a little better maybe. I actually broke the collar, right where the collar part was riveted to the buckle as I was putting it on the dog. So I put the other collar on him, he has kept it on, but I just don't feel like there has been any real reduction in his flea population. With him being a long haired dog, it is kinda hard to really give more than a guess as to how well this collar has worked.

I've been using the Shoo! flea and tick repellent spray and absolutely love it for deterring ticks from attaching to my dogs. I decided to try this essential oil flea and tick collar on my Australian Shepherd. While fleas are not a problem here for us the ticks are absolutely horrendous. This collar does smell like citronella, but not in a harsh way. The only place my Aussie will typically pick up ticks on our hikes is around his head, so the collar is definitely helping to keep the ticks away. I have not used the belly band at all, I don't think my dog would mind it at all, we just haven't needed it. I do think if you use the belly band you should take it off when you come in from outside. Since I'm using this as tick deterrent I do remove this after combing out my dog and doing a thorough search for ticks after each walk. It if functioning as advertised for me and I think the quality is great. I love that you can refresh the collar with the provided spray, that is really important.

I thought this was going to be GREAT! My Aussie / Border Collie mix got a bad case of fleas and they weren't just all around his neck, so I thought having a second "collar" around his waist was a BRILLIANT idea. Even thought it was expensive, I ordered it and was excited to get it. Marshall didn't give me any 'grief' about putting the waist collar on him, but within a few days, he had completely chewed it off. :-(
