With St. Patrick's Day coming up, I thought this Slainte Pint Glass by shop4ever would make a nice hostess gift. While it is the proper size and made of thick glass, the etching of the design is too weak to be considered "premium". The eitching is very light and barely discernable, even when a beer is in the glass. The font is made to look old and with an outline, but on the glass is just looks like it has been poorly done. It is also very rough on the surface despite repeated washings, which is a bit uncomfortable on your fingers. This is fine for use around the house but I would not offer it to guests nor give it as a gift.

This pint glass easily holds one US bottle (or can) of beer. As the description says it's 16 oz. So - not an imperial pint, but that's perfect! See the photo for an example of a whole bottle poured into the glass.The glass feels good in your hand and has a smooth rounded rim that feels great on your lips. It has a good solid weight to it. It feels like I'm in my favorite local Irish pub when I'm using it!The laser engraving is really nice! This won't be washing off in the dish washer - that's for sure! It really looks sexy with a dark beer like a stout or a porter (see photo).I'd say it's a great value for a quality engraved item such as this. I highly recommend it for enhancing your beer drinking experience! Slainte!

This is a true pint glass. If they sold beer in pints in the US, it would hold the whole thing. I love that it says "Slainté" on it, which is "Cheers" in Gaelic. Great for Irish or Scottish celebrations. The glass itself is nice and thick, so I don't have any worries about it breaking in the dishwasher. This is just like a pint glass you'd get at a bar. The words and image are etched in, too, so it won't rub or wear off.

This is a great pint glass! It has a really nice heft to it as the glass is thick and solid. The design looks great and is etched, so there's no chance that it will come off in the dishwasher over time. It makes a great addition to my collection. It's always a good time for a good Irish toast, but it will be great to have and raise a pint on St. Patty's Day!

Sgop4ever’s laser engraved pint glass is nicely decorated with the Irish word for Cheers/Slainte and a nicely designed clover. When filled with your favorite beverage they standout and make the decorations standout nicely. The glass is thick and not cheaply made. It is a nice pint glass to have for regular use and especially for St. Patrick’s Day.

Great Irish beer drinking glass, just in time for St. Patrick's Day. Holds about a pint of Guinness Stout, or perhaps your own favorite(s). Some of mine are: Harp lager and Smithwicks or Kilkenny ales. In a pinch, it can be used for drinking water as well!The word Slaintѐ (health) hovers over a shamrock, both neatly laser engraved into the glass.I like this product and it fits well with my other pint glass selections. This is a really nice pint glass! The glass is clear and smooth with no rough edges. Also, there is a decent weight to it. The glass has a substantial, solid feel. But what really sets it apart is the engraving. The Slainte and shamrock are beautifully done! This is a great classic pint glass with Irish pride!

The laser etching on this pint glass is beautiful and professionally done.This glass has the same weight and durability of my other beer pint glasses, but with excellent artwork. It is great for using during St. Patrick's Day, but I intend to use and display it during the rest of the year.
