Purchased this for my toddlers bedroom door so we would hear if he was got up in the night. It only works if you swing the door open very hard. If you open/close the door in a normal fashion, it doesn’t ring.It looks very nice and the adhesive seems to be strong. If only it worked…

Great for front door alerts. You can tighten it or loosen it to make it louder or less loud!

It's beautiful and the chime is not annoying or too loud.

Loved this product. Its so beautiful, so cute, well constructed. Quality materials. Has a magnet so attaches straight to the metal door. The little chime sounds really nice.

I purchased this bell for my door in my private practice clinic as I do not have a receptionist in the waiting room. It is very pleasant sounding and decently loud. The chime reminds me of a “shop around the corner” bookstore type vibe. It’s not obnoxious at all and is really pretty to look at too.

I really love the design, the little bell, the natural sound... was very excited to get this but sadly, thus little bird is quiet when the door opens. Apparently, my old back door doesn't vibrate enough so it does not activate the little clapper to ring its bell. Maybe a storefront door would move enough but not my door. It's back to the drawing board or I have to settle for one of those hideous electronic things.

The chime is mostly really pleasant and it's easy enough to set off, but you could potentially open and close doors slowly enough for it not to go off. I say mostly because it can be a little loud and/or high pitched if it rings just right. I'm toying with ideas to dull it just a touch. If you're using this on a metal door then you are solid, that magnet is strong, but so far the adhesive has worked well too.
