Bought these filters for my 4 gal shop vac not an alternate but a real shop vac. The hole was almost 1/2 size and had to return it. I can't find a listed filter. I have a 5 gal shop vac and bought filters for it and they fit prefect. I bought an E type filter which is supposed to be for a 5 gal vac. Good luck finding a 4 Gal filter. Maybe mine is an older style 4 gal shop vac.

I have been trying to find these for over a year. The pandemic made it hard to find these, even from the shop vac company. So I was happy to find these bags again. I am so glad they fit and not like the generic ones another company sold me saying they would fit. They did not and there were no refunds or returns.

I foster large breed puppies and have two large dogs of my own along with cats and a litter box. There is a ridiculous amount of dirt and hair that accumulates on my floors and furniture. This bag (& vaccuum) has done an excellent job off keeping things cleaner. I've had expensive pet vacuums in the past and the kitty litter just decimates the filter. These bags are really the way to go.

These are very poor quality! I have used my new shop-vac 5 times and have had to replace the bag 4 out of 5 times!!! Once they get partially full they blow a hole right through the bag and then my machine blows dust all over the house! It is very irritating. I am probably going to return the machine because without decent bags it is useless!!

After reading some of the reviews here which mention this will replace the one for the Stanley 4 gallon sold by Costco, I thought my search was over. Almost. This is a very quality bag, it will fit, but will be a little short - from the hole to the bottom of the canister, several inches. If you don't overfill the bag and keep it from getting too heavy then no big deal. Otherwise, the search continues.

We weren't able to find the filter bags for our 4 Gallon All Around EZ Shop Vac from the place we purchased the Shop Vac at--(Walmart). We find it interesting that they don't carry replacement bags for a vacuum cleaner that they carry. Anyway, my next stop was Amazon, wonderful Amazon. I should have checked here first, and saved ourselves the trip. They offer this set of 3 replacement bags at a fair price, and Prime shipping makes it even better. These arrived in packaging just right, and right on time!
