Great price to waterproof a switch outside. Simple but effective way to waterproof my solar tracking switches. These sit in the rain 365. The washer is plastic instead of rubber but seams to work. This is the only negative. The switch cover is still effective.

I bought this to go over a switch to waterproofer my kayak it goes over amazing and it works very well. It does not bind up on the switch at all and I could use the switch perfectly. Good buy.

The picture shows this toggle boot base as brass but the ones that arrived here are not brass. The are not steel though, they are not attracted to a magnet so they could be brass but why would you plate it silver. The product it self seems OK but the way it is presented on the web site seems deceiving.

Pictures shows brass. What you get is not brass. I paid a premium assuming I would get brass.

the rubber on this is very durable. i have it installed under a aircraft style red safety switch and was concerned with it tearing. Has stood up so far and I don't see it being a issue. highly recommend.
