I installed this G1/2" 3-way shower diverter valve for my hand shower and fixed spray head, ensuring it was screwed on tightly and using the provided sealing strip. Despite my careful installation, it still leaks, which is disappointing. While the solid brass construction feels durable, the leaking issue undermines its functionality. This product has potential, but the design needs improvement to provide a truly leak-proof experience.

I have purchased similar shower diverters in the past and never had any problems with installation or leaks. I wanted to add one to a guest shower. This one was a couple of bucks cheaper and looked OK. But this product is hopeless. The G 1/2 threads must be off and standard heads shower hoses and shower arms don't properly thread on the fitting resulting in comical leaks spraying water everywhere. It even leaks under the control valve to add insult to injury. So a perfect score for leaks. Returned.

Fairly easy to install, and allows me to have both a handheld sprayer and a shower head in my shower. Just turn the little handle and you switch from one to the other, or put it halfway and run both!

Works as should but does not come with gasket/seal will leak without so be prepared to buy a seal/gasket if you purchase otherwise works fine
