They work, but they’re very thin. So far none of my mares (including the yearling) have managed to tear them, but the rope is super thin. Ya get what ya pay for🤷🏼♀️

Description was for 40" bags. They were 30" maximum & hold only 5 lbs of hay if you really work at stuffing them. I got 4, to cover 2 choretimes. We have to fill all 4 to feed enough hay for 2 horses. Tie strings are so thin they're painful to carry bag by that, & make it difficult to tie off. Really disappointed. I've fed with bags for 30+ yrs and it's harder & harder to find something you can get a whole meal in.
