Pump comes on for a second every few minutes. Thought this would fix the issue. Kit easy to install and instructions clear. But didn't fix my issue. Strangely it changed it.. now pump comes on every 10 minutes or so for a several seconds. Don't really know what the issue is but apparently not my check valve.

I took our concession trailer out of storage and filled the water tank only to find water leaking from the bottom side of the pump. I did order a new pump but then saw this kit. I took my old pump apart and saw a small hole in the diaphragm. Ordered the kit, installed it, and end of leak. Worked great and very easy to install.

It was fitted perfectly but the pump still unable to self-prime. The old parts were defective and had to be replaced. But, with the new replacement kit, pump can not prime by itself. There could be another problem with pump system and fittings.

If you're having leaks or problems with pressure control in your Shurflo pump, this will fix you up. Even if you aren't, it's wise to keep one of these, along with a spare lower housing kit and valve assembly just in case you're in the middle of nowhere and have problems with your Shurflo pump. Cheap insurance!

This fixed my water leak! Way cheaper than buying a new pump too! I didn’t use the new spring that came with it, because the factory one looked 10 times stronger.

My water pump in the coach would trip about every 15-20 minutes, for just a second or 2. I searched and searched for leaks without success (that's a good thing.) The check valve was next on my list to replace. So far it has solved the intermittent "tripping" of the water pump.The kit was what I expect from Shurflo. Package was well sealed and had clear, simple to read and visualize instructions. I took me about 5 minutes to replace the valve.So far so good. I might buy a second kit just to have on hand for the future.
