I needed the pole and ordered separate cheap brushes. This adapter makes it fit the pole and I am very happy that is is offered so I can buy cheaper off brand brushes.

Allows for interchangeable mop and scrub brushes. Doesn’t need to be shurhold boat accessories

It does what it's supposed to do. I have had a few of these over the past ten years of owning charter boats. Just don't throw it around and use it for what it's intended use is and it'll last a year or so. The last one I had was well over a year old when it finally broke, as was the rest.. Don't throw it..don't toss it off the boat onto the concrete, etc.. 5 stars.

This is an excellent addition to my Shurhold system for a specific attachment I have not made by Shurhold that allows me to use it on my Shurhold telescoping pole.

Simple, effective and very well made.If you have brushes, mops, etc. of the female threaded type... this is just what you need to adapt them to the Shurhold system.

The pictured item has been changed to a newer model shown here: [...] It serves the same function but is more rugged than the older model with the aluminum piece. The new one is that molded material which is pretty rugged and will never rust or corrode as the aluminum might.I use it to use the Shurhold handle for other things such as inexpensive brushes from home depot or lowes instead of a marine store so ultimately it will save you money.
