Upgraded from some (admittedly very old) Alpinestar Tech 7 and there is just no comparison. The inclusion of an adjustable internal liner keeps dirt out of the boot. The hinged ankle provides great flexibility and comfort without sacrificing support and the overall comfort of the boot is just fantastic. To top it off, every part of the boot is replaceable, so you can simply replace worn parts rather than throwing the boots in the garbage and buying a new pair.

Had the crossfires for a few years and darn they are so well made. Feel so protected when I ride and crash. Shifting and braking is no different than any other boot. Only thing that's hard is getting the cam lock buckles shut. I leave my boots in the sun for an hour then use a piece of wood against my bumper to cinch the top buckles all while wearing my gloves. Last boots I will ever need. Viva Sidi!
