If you are using this book for a 150hp not verado engine, it is relatively the same as a 115hp with a very few exceptions

Good information, but the way the manual is laid out you have to chase all over for info specific to what you're working on.

I have two 4 stroke mercury outboard engines--9.9 HP and 90HP. I need to conduct research if the engines have mechanical problems. I can conduct Internet searches and utilize common sense (to guess) which may provide guidance on outboard engine issues and maintenance; however if I want comprehensive professional guidance then this book provides exactly what I need. The book is an in-depth guide on all 4 stroke mercury outboards from 2005-2011. The book provides pictures and explanations associated with my engines. I can read through each procedure and then apply the process to the mechanical or maintenance issue . It is an excellent resource. A bit spendy but worth the cost.

I have to work on the mercury outboard from time to time and am in no way a expert on them. I bought this to learn more about them and have to say I'm not disappointed this manual is a must for anyone who works on them
