The kit contains one Sierra 18-08871-1 Service Valve with O-ring and one Sierra 18-0993 Cover and Gasket Assembly. It is interchangeable with Evinrude/Johnson 175158+437228.

Worked perfect for me came in a sierra bag sealed with everything need but the screws for top service on primer solenoid would buy again.

Installed the gasket. Put the valve in the cap and twisted down as you pull out a little to get the cap to seat on the plunger. Went down as it should. Tightened screws and reconnected hoses.Motor wants to die at idle in down (run position). Runs in up (manual mode) BUT leaks out the valve. Valve is loose inside the cap.What does this mean? Air is getting by the O ring because the cap valve insert isn't tight enough.Sorry. Going back to OEM. Normally Sierra products are good. Not this time!99 Johnson 250 V6 looper
