PLUS:PRO'sAll necessary parts were provided, and worked well.MINUS:CONs (opportunities)No online instructions/manuals are available.3 component kit contains WHEEL ADAPTER-HELM-STEERING CABLE assy with INDIVIDUAL manuals for each.No "tools required" or anti-seize , or lubrication list provided PRIOR or with the kit.IF REPLACING A EXISTING SYSTEM....PRIOR to ordering it should be suggested to remove the existing system cable and measure for proper length,In my instance the SEA STAR customer service rep "decoded" the photo of the existing cable label as 12' and upon removal of old cable it measured 15' !!!!... MY mistake ? and the return shipping was not covered./////////////////////////REVISED REVIEW... one week later.. not yet in the water...So I was showing the neighbor how nice it turns and SCRREEECHHHH.. !!! every turn of the wheel produced a screech.. ????.. I pulled the wheel off.. and it is the black plastic trim collar that goes between the dash console and the wheel.. the helm shaft measures .752" approx !!!!.. I lost the pix of the measurement of the plastic trim hole.. but it was .758.".. ??? .006" tolerance ..REALLY ???.. so look at the plastic hole and you can see the rub/screeech... .. sandpaper and grease, but REALLY???

Have had this on my boat for over a year, minimal steering effort and great quality piece, great affordable option for anyone looking to get rid of the tiller handle on their outboard.
