For basic lens protection this is a great filter. With it's low profile and quality glass you do not realize it is on the lens. Does not interfere with a Sigma lens hood. I really like the one-size-fits-all plastic case that comes with Sigma filters. You don't have to dig around in your gear to find the case specific to the filter that you wan't to store. My consumer confidence in Sigma increases with every purchase.

It's so clear that I forget it's on. No glare or other issues (though I admittedly shoot with a hood on most of the time). I can't comment on protection, and I hope I never learn about its ability to protect.

主に飼い犬と遊びに行って撮影をしているのですが、大型犬でよだれが多く、撮影中たびたびよだれスプラッシュの洗礼を受けます。撥水効果のあるプロテクターは拭き取りも簡単で重宝しています。SIGMA製レンズに取り付けていますが、さすがに相性はばっちりです。

17-70 f2.8-4 macro contemporary 用に購入しました。以前は純正ではないプロテクターを使用していました。が、光にかざしてみると何やらフィルター表明のコーティングむら？があり、実際写りに影響している訳ではないのですが、ふいてどうにかなるものでもなく、気になりだしまして。そこで純正を購入しました。レンズメーカーのフィルター、さすがです。むら、ありません。透過率も良さそうです。週末の試写が楽しみです。
