I completely shattered my protector... after I dropped my camera from waist height (hella rookie mistake, long story) straight onto rock solid tile. I had only had the protector for a week. And somehow, don't know why, don't know how, don't know how again, but my $1k lens was not completely obliterated (though my camera LED is broken now). Yes, it was lucky af, but if this protector wasn't there, it would've been the lens being shattered. God bless America and God bless this lens protector, the one we all deserve. In my greatest hour of need, it showed up when I certainly did not expect it to...🤦🏽♂️

SIGMA Art 24-70mmに着用していました。カメラの入ったリュックを車の荷室から落下させてしまったのですが、プロテクターのみバキバキに割れ、レンズ本体は全くの無傷でした。購入当初は、（意外と高いこともあり）本当に必要なのかと考えたりしましたが、心の底から買って良かったと思える品でした。不注意な人間なので、早速再購入しました。ありがとうございます。

This is NOT a UV filter, and like so many other brands it does NOT affect colors. It is made by Sigma to be a protective glass for their specific lens. It fits perfectly, protects the lens, and is an absolutely flawless piece of glass. I could not be more pleased!

Compré el primer filtro UV Sigma por casualidad; se habían agotado los B+W y me recomendaron los Sigma. Son perfectos. Sigma es de las pocas marcas que fabrican filtros de protección sin anti UV, que es lo que buscaba.
