It worked for a little over a week. I was using it to send signals on a project I was testing. It worked fine after I was finished. Went to compare the signal from this device against another. It wouldn't put out any signal. It turns on but no output. So I started checking the components and found a open resistor.

After reading the reviews I thought that this unit was from heaven. It does have excellent stability in output voltage. It generates clean sine wave. But, the temperature-frequency drift is absolutely unacceptable for my application. Frequency drift due to ambient temperature changes makes the unit unacceptable to me. I'm sending all 5-piecies that I bought back.

Works well, modulation slightly shaky, but once it’s set it’s ok

I tried all the modes over the frequency range and they work as advertised. The circuit requires well-filtered and regulated power for correct operation. I tried to use a 12 V charger for a power bank and had significant ripple problems. I switched to the battery power bank (which simulates a well-filtered power supply) and did not have any problems. I was running the output without a load except for a 10 MegOhm scope input. In that situation, the AC coupled input required almost a minute to settle to a balanced output. I suspect that a 100 K or lower load would get rid of this effect. Good product. One thing that should be pointed out is that this is essentially a demo board for the IC, rather than a direct replacement for a commercial function generator. Changing frequencies, waveforms, duty cycles, and correcting waveform distortion involves changing jumpers and adjusting 5 trimpots. You can definitely generate all the waveforms with this small board, just not quickly and effortlessly.
