Silent basketball, perfect for my 5 year old to practice dribbling inside the house.Per the instructions, it did take about 2 full days for the ball to turn fully circular after taking it out of packaging.It feels soft and squishy, like it's made of soft foam. But the bouncing qualities are very similar to a real basketball where I think my son practicing with this will translate to being able to dribble a normal basketball. As far as shooting goes, I'm not sure if the weights match up. My guess is probably not. But I bought solely for indoor dribbling practice.

I absolutely love this silent basketball! It’s perfect for indoor use—soft, yet bouncy, and doesn’t make any noise while dribbling. The foam material is high-quality and durable, making it great for both kids and adults. It has just the right amount of elasticity, so it feels natural while playing but won’t damage floors or walls. My kids enjoy playing with it, and I appreciate how it keeps the house quiet. After a few minutes it blows up nice and round like a regular ball size.It has a decent bounce and is great for my kids.The noise is virtually non existent and it's easy to play with.The lines are slightly faded because of the softness but it doesn't effect it

Was it vacuum packed and therefore extremely out of round upon arrival? YesDid it smell horrible upon arrival? YesWas I skeptical that it would ever become round and the smell would go away? YesAbout 24hrs after opening this ball it was almost perfectly round and no longer had a strong odor. My kid loves it, he can practice drinking in the house, and I paid a lot less for it than the other brands.

This was nice and quiet and responded almost like a real basketball. The only issue is the material can break off easily if it snags on a sharp object.

Tired of loud bangs and marks on the walls from my son's incessant basketball dribbling/handling inside, I was eager to try a silent basketball - something I couldn't quite wrap my mind around until I ordered this product.The LGGbaodan Silent High-Density Soft Foam Basketball,2025 is a great product, as far as we're concerned. This basketball isn't as big as a regular adult or "Size 7" basketball, nor is it as heavy. It is a light, dense foam that, true to it's name, is relatively silent when bounced. It bounces pretty well too, though this type of product takes a little more force when dribbling/bouncing to get the bounce-back a regular ball would have. In our opinion, that works well since we want our son practicing his dribbles with a bit more force. The foam seems to be of good quality so far -- the density gives it a nice, solid, firm feel, nothing that you'd expect to get chunks out of like softer foam that might start to disintegrate after repeated handling. The markings on the ball are a nice idea too -- with actual grooves you can feel. The only slight downside is that the black lines in those grooves could be darker. The foam ball is evenly round and not lopsided, and bounces accurately.Overall, we are very happy with this silent basketball!

After unpackaging and taking out of the shrink wrap, the ball expanded to its normal size, but is lopsided and has remained that way. There’s no way to use this ball properly so it’s being returned.
