This is a simple silicone protector case that slips easily and securely over your JBL Clip 5. The sleeve doesn't interfere in any way with the buttons' operations or the speaker's sound quality/projection. What it does do is provide your speaker with increased protection against bumps and drops. It looks nice and the strap provides another way to attach it. I like the purple color. It looks pretty against my Clip's gold handle. For the price, you can't go wrong.

If I could give this more stars I would. I travel more than average. I also hike and camp a lot. I take a speaker pretty much everywhere I go and this case which allows me to stand the speaker up as well as protect it from bumps is AWESOME. I would definitely buy this again if something happened to my current cover. It does not take away from the astethic of the speaker. I get compliments on the case when out with friends.

This is probably the best accessory you can get for your JBL Clip 5. The silicone is soft, and silky smooth. You can see and feel it's thick and reinforced in all the right places to protect and adds more functionality. It's open on both sides to allow all the sound through. All the front and side buttons still work flawlessly. I love that it gives it a flat bottom so you can sit your speaker up on flat surfaces.The only thing I wish was that the plain open usb port hole underneath had a built in cover to protect it a bit better from the elements.It comes with a long strap that goes through a slot built into the back of the case. It allows you to strap it around anything. The inside of the strap is covered with a soft grippy material to grab onto your handlebars for example. The outside of the strap is covered in a type of velcro that sticks to itself anywhere really really well. So useful and glad they gave me another great option to using my clip 5.
