This has been fantastic to keep in the car. When it's empty it folds up into a little ball, so it's small and out of the way. We try to make sure it's usually filled, especially when we're loading up the dogs. It took a little getting used to, and at first I wasn't sure I liked how it worked, but it's actually pretty great. As you squeeze the water out, it collapses the bottle, so when youre nearly out of water it's back to it's ball shape and you know you need to refill the bottle. The spout the water comes out of is great because it comes out two sides, my puppy loves drinking the water as I squeeze it out of the bottle where as the older dog waits until the water is puddled in the 'bowl'. I love that you can turn the bottle right side up and squeeze air out and suck water back in so you're not wasting it if you're no where near a refillable area. It's just so incredibly handy, I'm glad this was the travel bottle I ended up selecting.There is a bit of a learning curve with it, because I hated it at first. Getting the silicone "bowl" on and off, and filling it and twisting the lid on without squeezing out all the water seemed like such a challenge that I wasn't going to like doing it every time I had refill it or water the dogs. It took some getting used to and I struggled with it the first couple times I used it.
