Our Blackstone does not have a cover so this helps keep the surface clean while we are camping. Fits the 17" perfectly. After grilling he cleans the surface and then lays this on the grill surface to keep it from collecting dirt. We love it.

This silicone mat definitely helps control rust from building when the blackstone isn't in use. It's easy to clean (since we season the blackstone after every use, I have to wipe it down often) and fits the blackstone perfectly.
