These molds are nice. The only negative comment I have is that they are big, so unless you are making a lot of small candies, it’s hard to use just part of it, scrape it down and fit it in refrigerator. Other than that, they are very nice.

I make gummies, but I got these molds for soap, not gummies. I make cold process soap, and with these molds I can make little soap embellishments to go inside my soap or on top. These molds release the soap very easily, with not much residue at all left behind, making them very easy to clean. Completely satisfied with these.

I’ve been making gummy “candies” for my kid for years as a way to get more protein into her in a mildly sweet treat (it’s just apple cider, cinnamon, grass-fed gelatin, and honey). I usually make them in a mold that fits the season (e.g. pumpkins in the Fall, gingerbread men at Christmas time, etc.), but they all are at least 1.25 x 1.25 inches. When I saw these cute molds with tiny hearts and stars, I thought they would be cute so she could have something that’s small like gummy bears.First off, the quality is pretty good. The silicone is thicker than some I’ve gotten through Vine. There were a couple of spots with black marks that would not come off with washing (see pic), but I just avoided filling those. I did discover that filling these tiny cavities without significant overflow (putting it mildly) is nearly impossible. I ended up kind of pouring some across the top and tilting the pan to let the liquid fill the cavities as it flowed.Once the gummy candies had set after chilling in the freezer for 15 minutes, I had to get them out of the molds. Talk about labor intensive! The excess did come off relatively easily, but it being “gummy” made the very thin pieces between the cavities stick to my fingers in clumps and not want to come off. Having to remove almost 400 little candies from the molds took almost 20 minutes. If I had made chocolates, I think it would have been much better/easier.Cleaning these molds is also not very easy. It says they are dishwasher safe, and I have no doubt they’d be fine in the dishwasher, but experience has taught me that silicone in the dishwasher absorbs the flavor of the dishwasher detergent which then transfers to whatever I make in it next. Since I’m not a fan of eating soap-flavored treats, I wash my silicone molds by hand. All in all, these are decent molds, but—for my use—the positives do not outweigh the negatives.

These are tiny molds but great for holidays and for decorating. They are small so it is time consuming to get them out of the molds, but it is definitely worth it. Make your own decorations or even tiny candies to give out. These are great molds and easy to use.

Short and sweet review: Non-stick, the perfect size for small dog treats, 4/5, would buy againIn depth review, keep reading:Before buying these I had been manually scooping 1/4 tsp and 1/8 tsp dog treats by hand, which got real old real fast and was taking a toll on my hands. These molds are great because they are right around those same sizes, with each heart and star holding approx 1/4 tsp in volume and the circles and squares holding approx 1/8 tsp.Someone mentioned that they found it hard to use only a section of these molds due to the overall size of the molding mat, but that was not my experience. I managed to use some left over dough in a 6x6 area of the smaller (yellow) molds without issue.Another reviewer said that these are hard to clean, as they have had issues with dishwasher detergent leeching into other silicone molds in the past; so they only wash their molds by hand. As someone who has been using silicone baking molds for their pets and family for the past 4 years, I have never had this problem. Maybe I'm just lucky and have only managed to get my hands on high quality silicone molds, but I washed these molds in the dishwasher (top rack) BEFORE using them for the first time and there was no lingering detergent scent or scum, and no concern that they would make anything taste like soap.Despite the small size, these molds are exceptionally non-stick. I did not grease them ahead of time, and the dog treats came tumbling right out while they were still hot from the oven. The ONLY cons, and the reason for 4 stars instead of five are:A) The surrounding edge of the molds is only 4mm-7mm wide (depending on the shape) which makes it very easy for dough to get caught on the outer lip of the silicone sheet when spreading it into the molds.B) The packaging should come with instructions to wash and preheat the mats before first-use. It is very common for many products to have a weird chemical or plastic smell the first time they are used, due to the manufacturing process (that's why when you buy a toaster is says to run it without toast for a few minutes the first time), and these molds are no exception. Washing away and cooking off that residue ensures that whatever you're making won't be contaminated. It is always someone's first time doing something, and a little effort toward making sure customers know how to get the most of a product can go a long way.

I got these silicone molds specifically to freeze-dry yogurt, and while each section was smaller than I expected, they worked perfectly! The size ended up being pretty convenient for bite-sized portions. The molds are easy to clean, which is a huge plus, and they shipped quickly, so I didn’t have to wait long to try them out. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and would recommend them for anyone looking for versatile, easy-to-use molds!
