I wasnt expecting much, yet thoroughly disappointed. Starts ok, blower fan has really annoying high pitch whine, then the exhaust starts to stink and making smoke and gets crazy hot. The longer it runs, the worse it gets. Customer service is awful, didnt realise I wasn't buying from Amazon. Listing said its returnable, but when I tried to return it, Amazon says it is not returnable. Contacted Amazon, the put me in touch with Silvel. I explained I didnt want to turn it back on as I was worried about fire. "Take photos, take video, send it here, send it to our other website". "Take it all apart and clean the burn chamber, see if that helps." "OK, return it, but YOU PAY SHIPPING." Its got 4 hours (total ) of use and its never worked properly. Silvel are just giving me the runaround and wasting my time.

Update: seller contacted me, they are sending a replacement part for the error code. Very quick response. Changing to 3 stars until the part arrives. If it works I will update my review!Bought 2 of these for our boys for Christmas! Keeps throwing error codes and doesn’t work. Waiting to hear back from seller. Do not recommend!

Convenient, simple, unbelievable heat output and run time. I used this for two months solid all day every day last winter and it had zero issues. Runs 6-8 hours on a tank of fuel and about 10 hours on a good deep cycle battery. I kept it hooked to a 3 amp battery charger and it worked like a champ.

Its absolutely perfect.I was worried about some of the negative reviews, but it been great for me as iv used it all over colorado. Everything sets up and installs in minutes. Its quiet once the initial startup has ran.It makes enough heat that it keeps out smittybilt xl warm.

So….it worked GREAT for the first hour then I needed a new fuel pump. It likes to shut off by itself. There’s a ton of white smoke (so it’s running rich), I’m just saying; there’s a ton of issues with this thing. The entire time we’ve fought it to keep it on. I guess you get what you pay for. Please please look at my review before buying this diesel heater. I bought this December 20, 2024, writing this review today to help others understand that this diesel heater is NOT to buy. You’ll just dump more money into it.

I purchased two of these and used one in my shed and after about 8 months of part time use it no longer works and just blows cold air. The second one I use in my Rv and today a year later and with occasional use it stopped working and doesn’t click like it use to and the info I found online says the pump is dead. After researching I discovered these no matter the brand only work for a few months if used often. I can’t recommend these units since they don’t last.

Heater is efficient and effective but the exhaust, intake and heat ducting are either not well suited or incredibly short. I would buy it again given the pricing!
