Actually, I purchased the SIM kit a few weeks ago when it has a "Free $30 Airtime Activation Promotion". I was thinking to try on the service from Simple Mobile. Today I tried to activate the sim card on my old iPhone6s+. At first when I inserted the SIM into the phone. The pop-on option was asking to select a new number or transfer the existing number. By following a new number selection there is a new pop-on window to ask for a PIN, which is I don't have. I go to the webpage of Simple Mobile to create my account and activate the SIM card. It was easy to complete the process. I could activate the service just in a minute. I have not tested the download speed yet. The logo on the phone is showing TFW, which is Trace Phone Wireless. Not sure what is the relationship between Simple Mobile and TFW. But I would say this promotion is very good for people who just need the service in a short time. And it is using the T-Mobile network.

First off, a disclaimer: I'm literally a small business IT tech. I'm very familiar with cell phones, how they work, how to transfer service, and how to provide good customer service. Simple Mobile fails to provide.I bought this because the plan pricing looked good, and the $25 service credit with activations looked good.Unfortunatly, transferring from Cricket Wireless DOESN'T WORK. After checking with Cricket Wireless that I had all my account info exactly correct, I tried TWICE to transfer. It didn't work, either time. Simply failed. No error messages, no calls, no emails, Simple Mobile just charged my card $40, and stayed silent.I called Simple Mobile support two times, to ask for a refund, and see if they could tell me what went wrong with the transfer process. Both times took upwards of a HOUR on the line, with 3-5 transfers per call. Except for two, the customer service reps that I talked to were incomprehensible (I'm not referring to thick accents here. They simply didn't know what they were talking about.), incompetent, and utterly stuck to the script. When I FINALLY got to someone with the competence and authority to refund my money for the service they FAILED TO PROVIDE (only after they'd made it clear they were unable to help me with a failed transfer, and blamed Cricket Wireless), it took several call-backs, as their OWN INTERNAL SYSTEMS FAILED THEM.If I sound frustrated, it's because I am. Simple Mobile is not a competent MVNO, and deserves only bankruptcy. Simple Mobile's reeking uselessness makes Comcast look like the paragon of good customer service.UPDATE 6/24/19:I tried to activate a line on the second SIM card. Simple mobile's own tech bungled something up, and it won't work, and they say I need a new one, and will not pay for it. Now I have a useless SIM card that I paid for, and it's past the return window.I'm FURIOUS.

I've been a Simple Mobile user for about a year and a half now, and this no-contract cell service is the best I've found because it's inexpensive and works well on the T-Mobile network. I purchased this Simple Mobile Keep Your Own Phone 3-in-1 Prepaid SIM Kit for my daughter to use with her iPhone SE after Virgin Mobile increased her monthly bill.Adding this SIM to an existing phone to use with Simple Mobile is easy to do, but you should check with Simple Mobile online to see if your phone is compatible first. If it is, you can port over your current phone number to Simple Mobile via their website and in a matter of hours, you'll be on the Simple Mobile network.I like that I can get a discount by setting up auto-pay on the Simple Mobile website. Right now I pay less than twenty-two dollars a month for 3 GB of data, with unlimited talk and text. I can also use my iPhone 8 (unlocked) and use the Wifi calling feature when my cell reception is spotty - which is rare on the T-Mobile network.Simple Mobile offers great monthly plan pricing, excellent service and both a website and app that are easy to use. Tech support has been responsive when I've had to use it and I've not had any surprises on my bill as they warn me when the billing is about to occur.Excellent! Highly recommend switching to this provider.NOTE: Activating this SIM will provide some buyers with a twenty-five dollar Amazon gift card if done in the time laid out by the offer.
