Needed a m6 on one side and a 1/4-20 on the other. I was able to clamp on the m6 side and turn and thread the m8 side of these bolts to a 1/4-20 on my machine. Nice hard steel I couldn't thread it by hand. Had to thread it on a lathe.

I was able to connect a new component with a blot of one thread size to an existing threaded hole with no problem once I used this as a coupler between the two. Worked Great.

For the price of these I would have expected a better threading job overall. the threads on one M-10 end are flat topped and the same on the other one but on the M-12 end. It's either because the major diameter is under size or the method of threading didn't cut deep enough. they will take nuts but the load capacity may be compromised. The stainless steel is magnetic and appears like its fine.
