Installation:This android radio upgrade fits well into the car (2012 Accord EX-L w/ premium audio). The installation instructions are not detailed and I recommend installation by someone who knows the wiring in your vehicle. There are several variations depending on the audio package installed by the factory and it's easy to encounter issues. i.e. The right and left AUX output was color coded wrong or spliced in wrong so they had to be swapped to be correct and the AUX connection cable was spotty and needed to be taped together to keep it from becoming disconnected on a single side. The camera format needed to be updated which required a passcode that was not apparent, a quick google search and video showed 8888 which gained access to the menu needed to change the camera format to the correct one.Performance:The android OS is very fast once it has started up and responds very well. I have installed a few different android options in cars over the past few years and was immediately impressed by the speed for this unit which does not boast the highest specs. Sound quality is great once "Hi-Fi" is turned off in the EQ app. Do not skip this. The quality was pretty terrible before turning this off. OEM+ is what I would consider the sound delivery and overall experience. Once paired wirelessly over Bluetooth both android auto and Carplay performed without issue and delivered trouble free sound. The internal microphone is not the greatest at noise cancellation but the driver could be heard and understood while driving. I would not suggest it for conference calls, or anything longer than a short conversation.

The product looks good and works pretty well - but installation was a 5 hour nightmare. The instructions were very vague. There were essentially no instructions on how to install the backup camera so I skipped that part for now.

Tbh i love how it looks, is such a seamless design that looks like it’s OEM. That being said it’s the most annoying piece of equipment in me car. I ordered the initial one and it had a problem staying connected to the Bluetooth, carplay would only work when it felt like then after a couple days it started making a loud buzzing noise from the right speakers so listening to anything was out of the window. I ordered a replacement which fixed the Bluetooth/buzzing problem but after a couple weeks I’m back to having the buzzing problem again. The issue is being caused by the plug that goes into the back of the unit, if i press on it the buzzing goes away, which means the plug must be crap. It happened twice with two different systems which leads me to believe that it’s a manufacturer problemFor the cost this unit is not worth it

Edit: The sellers of this have been super responsive and helpful. In addition the product has been reliable and working as advertised for many weeks now.The install was relatively straightforward, and while the directions that came in the box were lacking there are plenty of online videos to help bridge that gap. After installing everything was working great until I turned on my car headlights. A fuse blew and the backlighting for my factory radio and climate control buttons went dark. My car is a 2010 Accord LX-P.After reviewing the Accord wiring diagram (photo attached), I realized the wiring harness included with this product spliced the ‘Lights on Signal’ in position A13 into ‘Ground’ in position A12. This looked very intentional in the harness....not a production defect. I cut the A13 splice out of the ground and connected it directly to one another. I also had to replace the blown fuse (#6 on the passenger side), but after that everything is working as expected.None of this was specifically difficult or expensive to overcome, but did take away from the 'plug and play' appeal and required some additional troubleshooting that may not be in everyone's skill set.

This is a perfect budget product for a DIY project. While the wiring can be complicated for beginners, this was my first wiring project and it works perfectly. I have no issues with Bluetooth connectivity or everyday operations. While there are some catches, such as a laggy reverse camera, you get what you pay for. I am very satisfied with this product.

I recently purchased this car stereo that has exceeded my expectations in every way. The installation process was a breeze, and it seamlessly integrated into my car's dashboard, making it look like it came with the vehicle. The CarPlay functionality works like a charm, enhancing my driving experience. One aspect I appreciate about this stereo is that it provides an option for me to consider splicing the wiring for the backup camera in the future, without forcing me to do it now. This flexibility is a big plus. Overall, I'm thrilled with my purchase and highly recommend this car stereo to anyone looking for a seamless CarPlay experience.
