Excellent snips. Easy on these old hands, very sharp and rugged. Clearly not a cheap knockoff. This baby is a precision quality pair of snips.

Not sure if the steel is as robust as my American-made Wiss, but definitely sharp, easy to use and plenty heavy duty for my occasional uses. Both Wiss and SK are now made in China, so they should be comparable if not better than what's available in stores now. I've never been disappointed with SK, personally, either back in the day or presently with the new Chinese stuff (which is available at pretty good prices)

I have become a fan of SK tools recently. Despite being a Chinese company, they are a very high quality tool manufacturer. These snips are no exception. They are easy to use, incredibly sharp, and the grips are very nice. They function perfectly, and the value for the money was very high.

These tin snips do indeed cut straight. They've got a nice feel in the hand and are easy to operate. A small locking clamp is present so you can latch the snips closed when storing. A small lanyard hole is present on the handle as well. No issues cutting an assortment of thinner materials. Would recommend as a great addition to a toolbox.

Very thick metal and cuts through sheet metal and wires really well. No issues. I wish it came with some safety gloves, so I highly advise getting a pair to wear to avoid hurting yourself on the metal you're cutting.

I got these to use with some projects in my workshop and I have found that they perform quite well at cutting through thin sheets of metal -- I've used them so far with aluminum and copper and these things can cut through both like butter. The handles are comfortable and offer quite a bit of leverage and the cutting blades are sharp and effective. I would happily recommend these to others if they want an affordable pair of tin snips for household/workshop use!

…..I particularly like the compound leverage that this provides whilst cutting. Priced very fairly as well.I hadn’t realized that SK was producing some of their tools in China. I won’t go so far as to say this is the equivalent of their US made products, but it is certainly a decent set of snips.

These are some seriously heavy-duty tin snips! They have some weight to them and they are actually quite large, so much so that they are tough to hold in my hands when they are fully open. They cut beautifully with minimal effort. The handles are comfortable to hold and the snips lock closed easily for when they are not in use. Very happy with them!
