The concept of this case is great. It is just kind of flimsy and cheap. I wanted the 2-space rack for my project, however, the front and rear rack rails do not line up. Not even close. See my photos. I wanted a server-type pull out drawer to mount an interface and recording device on, and have all the wiring for the mixer on a 1 space panel in the rear. I had to go with this 4 space unit just to have the 4 ru rack rail in the rear. It may not fit in my wife's trunk. Also, the top on this is really flimsy, and I have to wrestle with it in order to get the latches to close. It is only a matter of time before the top breaks. I will review again on how well SKB stands behind their product.
