I got these straps to use on my kids skis to help my daughters carry their own skis/poles while I carry mine. Every parent's dream, after having kids who love to ski, is not having to carry 2-3+ pairs of skis while your kids stroll along unencumbered. These straps do a good job containing everything, keeping the skis and poles together and organized. We still haven't quite figured out how to make them comfortable to carry with the shoulder strap. Might help if the strap was a little wider, or if it was more padded. We've tried slinging the skis across their chests and just placing the strap over the shoulder, but in both cases we've still had complaints that they aren't comfortable. At least when I take over I can just carry skis with a convenient carry handle instead of having to manage keeping all the pieces together.

Very useful as ski straps and carrying skis around.The carrying straps could be a bit longer.
