FYI this will not fit a Skidoo Gen4. The only reason I am giving a bad review is because I was not refunded my full price when clearly it states it meets the specifications for XM SP chassis when I asked I heard nothing.

Fits good, slids into the reservoir with a small amount of force. Concept seems like it will work great. Haven't rode since installing. Item was smaller then imagined. Should be a good fix.

This is the exact fix I needed for the slow-leaking oil on my 2015 Summit 800. It fits inside the top of the oil reservoir and makes sure that little sucker stays round. The little O ring that comes on the bottom surface is questionable. By necessity its really small, so the problem is that when you tighten the oil cap down, it pushes the O ring out in at least one spot. For fun, I took the O ring off and tipped the sled on its right side for about 10 minutes. No leaks, which made me very happy. If your sled is slowly covering your pipe with oil, this little guy is the solution.

Apparently, the REV XP chassis had a common problem with the filler neck of the oil reservoir. Eventually, the filler neck becomes more d-shaped than round, causing an oil leak at the cap. I experienced this problem with my 2012 MXZ. I found oil all over the sled's battery, exhaust, and in the belly pan.At first, I considered buying a new oil reservoir for my sled but then found that it was such a common problem that some companies had developed a solution. The item was shipped quickly and package well. It came with an O ring to go under the lip of the sleeve.Using a heat gun, I gently heated up the filler neck before pressing this sleeve into place. It fit perfectly, rounded out the filler neck, and even sits shallow enough so that you don't lose the functionality of the max fill line indicator.After my first ride with the sled, after installing this sleeve, the oil leak has pretty much stopped, but not completely. I actually removed the o-ring that the sleeve came with and found that the leaking stopped.I am glad that somebody came up with this item. Would buy again, and have already recommended it to all of my fellow XP riders!
