SKIL offers acceptable batteries for use with SKIL power tools. I own three such batteries and most jobs require two of the three for completion. Ease of use & Fit are good.

The Skil weed eater is light and easy to use. It came with 1 battery and charger , great, but it will only last about 20 min. and takes longer to recharge. If you have others things to do that's not a problem. I bought the second battery to finish the job quickly. Note ; the bigger battery would make it to heavy. At 67, I have to be careful.
