These are labeled as h7055s. According to Skyjacker they are the same as h7016.

I replaced the OEM gas shocks on my 05 TJ which lasted 211000 miles. Out of 4 OEM only one blew the gas seal. The Skyjackers are not bad as replacements. So far they are holding up on off road trips, still a little bumpy, but better than it was before on the dips, craters and such. As a Jeepster, I was not looking for a luxury ride, just something that will hold up to the punishment of going off road. So far so good for 4 stars, now we'll see how long they will hold up.

The shocks are fine, they do what they are supposed to do. Both packages had parts missing, bushings and cap washers for one of the top mounts. Bushing and bottom mounting pin on the other. Used the existing parts I had. Not horrible but disappointing.

What I like about this product is they were easy to install, the structure is great and communication with the company is great. I used this product on my jeep.

I put these on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ) at the same time I put on a "budget boost" lift kit. These shocks are kind of noisy as other reviewers mentioned, but the only time I can hear them is if my stereo is turned off and I'm actively listening for it. If you're looking to put a small lift kit on your Jeep WJ, I can assure you these shocks work great. Just remember that you'll need to purchase bolts for the bottom of the shock, as they were built into the original shocks.

These fit our 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo perfectly, and it has not been lifted. When installing the rubber bushings, Tony used a small squirt of Liquid Wrench and they slipped right in. Much better ride than before!

Excellent shocks, easy to install and ride very smooth. Not too stiff like others I've used...couldn't be happier with them. Definitely would recommend to anyone lifting a Jeep that still wants a smooth ride. A little stiffer than stock, but not too harsh at all. I think Skyjacker nailed it on the valving.
