So far it’s a great lightweight pack. Just wish it had a mesh sack on the back instead of rubber bands. Love the deep side pockets for water bottles and tent poles. A good buy for first time hikers.

It is a comfortable pack - carried 30 lbs and could adjust during the hike to change fit.

This is a nice pack. Very spacious with a lot of options for strapping and securing gear on the outside. Shoulder, waist, and load-lift straps are properly designed. The only negative is that when the bottom of the pack is very full and fully expanded from the interior, the water bottle elastic mesh outside pockets are too stretched to fit a 1L water bottle without a lot of effort and pinching.

I would like to have more usable pockets on this bag, theres two on the belt strap and a medium size pocket that has a partition that you would expect for storing smalleritems but its pretty much the depthof the bag so you have to dig deep for the smaller things. There is a good amount of room in the main compartment, but expect having to dig in it. The bad does a decent job keeping items dry. The description suggests that it has a built-in hydration system, but there's no bladder included just a pocket for a hydration bladder and a hole for the tube to come out.

I am not an advanced hiker/camper so please bear that in mind. This backpack has all the features that I need - it's voluminous, has a cushioned back-bracing wraparound, adjustable straps that I can move up and down before closing them around my chest, and a rolltop. I like this fabric - it doesn't feel like rugged denier canvas, which would end up adding a lot more weight than I'd like. It feels more, like, strong sleek nylon. For being a short female who isn't extremely strong/fit, this is the kind of day hiking bag I wanted.

I bought this Skysper 50/60 liter backpack 18 months ago and I do not regret the purchase. I carry it with many of the items I carry for fly fishing in the rivers of Costa Rica (my tent, stove, poncho, mattress, food, water, etc., etc.). I really filled it to the top and it has behaved wonderfully.
