Wasn't sure from the description but this unit replaces the 1001-A part number as well as the TH-A.Simple install and I can use my remote again!

This SkyTech 1001-TH-A Receiver Box was a perfect replacement for my SkyTech 1001–A receiver box. The only difference between the two is, the TH-A could also work with the thermostat where the A does not. This Amazon purchase was the best price on the web and delivery came much quicker than expected. There was also new batteries included with the remote receiver box. To swap out for the defective box was simply disconnecting two wires and reconnecting the two from the new receiver box.
