I have a number of these "popovers" from another company, and when I saw this Lanz offered, I was expecting the same or greater quality. Where to start... the neck is not a cowl. but a true turtleneck and restrictive. It was exceptionally long, until, that is, I washed it on cold, low dryer heat. It went from floor length to mid-ankle. There is little gathering from the yoke, so it hangs very straight and the pockets bulge out on the sides; it, too, seemed to shrink after this one wash. The flannel is thin, and the black watch plaid is very muted. The other ones I have let me feel dressed when I'm not, comfortable answering the door, walking to the mailbox. This truly looks like a nightgown. Had I not washed it, I would return this. It is definitely not worthy of a $70 price tag. Live and learn.... I did see that Lanz is now made in China, which may account for the difference in the Lanz of old! This will be a Salvation Army donation.

If it was 1/2" to 1" longer, it would be absolutely perfect... The Neck part can be tucked in if you do not want to have it going up your neck (depending on your mood). Very Very comfortable. I have had softer, but this is just about right... Very well designed and manufactured. I would recommend this gown.

Ordered a size bigger as that gives me comfort in my pj’s. Washed and dried the gown and it maintained it’s color and sizing. Purchased this gown for cool nights at the lake. Typical Lanz quality as was expected.

I love this nightgown. It's warm and cozy, plus really pretty and soft. The flannel is not so heavy that it's too hot.

I have several Lanz nightgowns, including one purchased last year from Macy's. They are an exceptionally heavy fabric. This gown is made of a thin fabric. It's not what I expected for the price or for a Lanz gown. Returning it.
