This tool is great for parking brake cables, which are slowly disappearing because of electronic parking brakes. But they still grab the cables well and eliminate the damage done by grabbing them with vice grips and players. Would recommend purchasing these if you do work with parking brake cables especially on older vehicles.

Product worked but steel is very soft and after one use lower jaw that pushes out cable mushroomed. If you plan on using this in a shop type environment spend extra money for a quality name brand.
