These are really great! I'm rehabbing a shoulder injury, so they offer a perfect opportunity to utilize different angles and movements. You can use them in the conventional sense like battle ropes, or explore other movement patterns and angles - both are super helpful!

I've tried these and real battle ropes and while these have their pros (can be used silently, require minimal space) the balance and force on them is unnatural and to me is very hard on the joints. With regular battle ropes the weight of the rope and the axis of the wave pulls your joints into a line and supports them as they move naturally. With these there is quite a lot of torque pulling your hand out of alignment with the wrist and forearm. You have to work to support your own joints against this torque which gets tiring very quickly and leaves me very sore, not in a good way.
