This pouch is too small for a Nikon 50mm G lens. The description of product specifically stated it would fit this lens. I gave it two stars because the pouch is well made. I may have been shipped a smaller pouch than I ordered.

This case was obviously designed for small primes like my Fujinon 50mm f1.4 or similar lenses. May fit some small kit zooms but nothing longer than 4". It'll hold my Fujinon 18-55mm f2.8-4 zoom but won't close completely.Basically, if you have a normal prime, this lens bag is for you.

It is soft but sturdy - a great protection for my Sigma lens. The top of the case can be sealed. At this price, I highly suggest using the case!
