smelly black rubber that takes time to dissapate. (If you have ever been inside a harbor freight store, that's what it smells like) Not as stiff a matterial as i had hoped; I was intending to use as a substitute for leather backing on a kydex gun holster. This material is hard (deformation to pressure) but it is not stiff (bends easily).

I assumed it would have one layer of cloth per 1/8" of thickness, it doesn't, it has one layer of cloth. The product is as described and I would buy it again if I needed just one layer of cloth inserted. The reason for more layers of cloth is durability and rigidity, which is lacking in this product. I'm not blaming the seller or the product, just offering more information for future purchasers.
