I used these to put up a bird feeder high in a tree for my wife. With these pulleys we can se the bird feeder on the second floor of our house. The pulleys work well and were easy to attach to the tree limbs and trunk so the feeder can be lowered and raised easily with the cable that I have.

Only problem is I need one that can come apart so I can thread the cord through it. My drapery cord is one continuous circle. I'd have to cut the cord then tie it together. Unsightly.

The product listing says "Small Pulley Block Silent Pulley,Single Pulley Block,304 Stainless Steel Pulley Block Super Silent Detachable Duplex Bearing.."-They are not stainless steel, but are plated common steel.-They are not very silent but really rather squeaky.-They do not have any special bearing and are not very low friction.
