Clear glass, multi function. It has a variable ND filter AND circular polarizing lens all built into one. Two different dials adjust the ND rating of the lens, the other is the circular polarizing filter. First adjust the polarizing filter to where you like it, then adjust the ND filter. So far it's been a great lens. Thank you!

First, this does fit my GoPro Hero 13 just fine. It's easy to put on once you take the GoPro lens off. Second, it feels pretty solid. It's not cheap plastic. Third, and sadly, it's not easy to figure out how to adjust the filter settings on the lens. The instructions aren't that helpful. There are three numbers on the side of the lens -3, 4, and 5. I assume those are the numbers for ND8, 16, and 32. However, why don't they just put 8, 16, and 32 on the lens? Another negative is that for the polarization, you spin the outer lens. But it just spins and spins and it's hard to tell where to stop for optimal polarization. There are no marks on the outer lens to let you know if it's more or less polarization. And finally, the lettering/wording on the lens is super small. So this is a good ND/Polarization filter, but it's hard to use because the instructions are poor and there's no indication on the lenses.

Although this filter works and does it's job as it should, this is the most disappointed I've been with a smallrig product. It comes with protective stickers on both the front of the filter and on the small back side but it doesn't come with any type of case. The paper like envelope it comes in has a large sticky area at the opening which pulls off the protective stickers when you try to put it back. It's also a scratchy rough material that seems like it could scratch the filter. The outer bag the envelope goes in is a fuzzy material that seems like it would come off and get inside the filter. So there is no included way to protect it once it's removed. They could have just put it in a small paper envelope or preferably a small bag made of the same material the lens cloths are made of you get with many inexpensive prime lenses. As it is I will have to find and modify another filter case to put it in. It also doesn't have any type of lens cap. This is only a downside because the filter requires taking off the original outer lens and attaching like you would a lens mod. It would have been much preferred to simply have it mount as a push on type filter. I feel there is too much inconvenience involved in using this filter unless you are going to leave it on and mounted for the majority of filming and even then you have to keep the original outer lens to put back on before storing. I like the performance of the filter itself but it shouldn't be so much work to use and store without worrying about scratching the filter.

typical filter kit for your gopro. been shooting alot in the sun lately and this is a life saver!recommended if you need to go a few stops down.Works great and no issues attaching the filters

This is a nice all-in-one filter for creative shooting with your GoPro. It is easy to install and use once you remove the lens filter from the GoPro. It worked great on both my GoPro 11 and 12. To use the ND options, simply move the toggle to the desired position based on your lighting needs. For the Circular Polarizer, spin the filter to your desired position. The build of the filter is great as it is feels solid and the glass is clear. As other's have mentioned, there is no pouch included for storage or travel, which is a bummer, but I used another filter pouch I had with an open slot. Overall, it's a versatile filter to have in your bag in the event you're shooting in bright sunlight or want to create dramatic effects.
