Got this for my elderly mom who Loves to talk to the birds that come to her feeders. I have a tech challenged parent who sometimes calls asking me where the internet went. So I was initially hesitant to get this for her. However, the idea that she would get a notification on her phone when a bird would arrive, and (assuming she hits the right button) can talk to them made it a must get.This arrived and I waited with giddy anticipation to give it to her. She opened it and went “oh my! Well look at that”. Lots of commentary on how cute it was and everything. I set up the app, and installed it on her fence. Now. I have No idea if she is using the app correctly or whatever, but she really likes the bird feeder. She gets a Lot of squirrels (her house is heavily treed and most of them are nut bearing so yeah.) But she loves it and that’s all I care about. Overall, it’s a fun little techy bird feeder with some cool features I’m not sure my Mom appreciates, but hey. It made her smile.Note: it doesn’t hold much seed. It is not squirrel proof. The camera is good quality does require frequent cleaning. It came well packaged and set up wasn’t hard. I’ve not been able to test bird Id capability but since my Mom is an expert birder that wasn’t a consideration.

Grandkids so enjoy watching the different birds that come to their feeder. It was so easy to put together and looks great hanging from our tree.

I love this litter critter cam. It takes wonderful pictures of the animals that approach it. It was really easy to set up and is a good bird feeder too. My mom and dad want to get one now because of all the awesome bird shots I get!

The built-in software (subscription required after 30-day trial) also lets you identify the types of birds and learn more about them. The feeder goes together easily and provides solid housing for the seed. The solar panels keep the batteries charged for months and months so the only attention the feeder will need is refilling. There’s even a guard to keep squirrels out of the food and siren to scare them off.
